Car buying is not as easy as it sounds. You have to know a lot about cars in order to pay the right price. I come into contact with a lot of people who make really bad decisions on the cars. Some people sell me cars that they’ve only owned for a few days. They tell me about how the person who sold it to them said it was a good car and how it drove good the before they paid for it. Just recently I met a customer who had bought a 2004 Chevy Malibu and not only did the engine stop after a couple of days but she couldn’t even legally drive the car because the title was listed as salvage. When a vehicle is listed as salvage you have to get it rebuilt and inspected by the state before you can drive it. What made it worse is that she bought it from a licensed dealer. That’s got to be one of the worst situations I’ve ever heard of.
